S + will /shall + have + been + Ving
หลักการใช้
Tense นี้มีวิธีใช้เหมือนกับ Future Perfect ต่างกันตรงที่ว่า เราใช้ Tense นี้ก็เพื่อเน้นว่าการกระทำได้ดำเนินต่อเนื่องกันไปเมื่อถึงเวลานั้นการกระทำนั้นก็ยังคงดำเนินอยู่และจะดำเนินต่อไปอีก เช่น
- By 2005 we'll have been living in Lampang for ten years.
(เมื่อถึงปี 2005 เราจะอาศัยอยู่ในลำปางครบ 10 ปี = We came to live in Lampang in 1995.
We shall probably continue living in Lampang after 2005.)
- When we finish M.6, we 'll have been studying English for twelve years.
(เมื่อเราจบชั้น ม.6 เราจะเรียนภาษาอังกฤษครบ 12 ปี = We studied English in the past
and after we finish M.6 we probably continue studying English.)
- It will have been raining for one hour if it doesn't stop by four o'clock.
(ฝนจะตกได้ครบ 1 ชั่วโมง ถ้ามันยังไม่หยุดตกภายใน 4 โมงนี้ = It started raining at three o'clock and it probably continue raining after that.)
Exercise: Use the correct forms of Future Perfect Continuous Tense.
1. I (wait) ..................for her for an hour in five minutes' time.
2. That old building (stand).........there for two hundred years by the end of this year.
3. She (practise) .................for three hours by 5 o'clock in the afternoon.
4. She (travel)..............for a week by the time we reach New Zealand.
5. She (sleep)............ a long time before you come back.
6. By next Christmas I (collect)..............stamps for five years.
7. If she doesn't buy a new one soon , she (wear).............the same dress for two years.
8. By the fourth of next month we (live)...............here for two years.
